Hand Over an Assignment Without a Phone Chain

When something comes up

Sometimes an assignment no longer fits at short notice. Instead of phoning around or asking in group chats, you request a hand-over in CongPlan directly for the part concerned.

Only the right people are asked

CongPlan automatically notifies everyone who is qualified for the part and not absent during that time. The request only reaches those for whom it is actually an option – without the whole congregation having to read along.

Clear who is taking over

People who are asked see the part with its date and can accept or decline. As soon as someone takes over, it is clear who is stepping in. Through the overview of all hand-over requests, the coordinator keeps track without having to follow up manually.

Close to the real plan

Because the hand-over happens right at the assignment, the plan stays consistent: the part moves cleanly to the new person instead of getting lost in messages. That saves follow-up questions and prevents a part from ending up with nobody responsible.
